December 2019 Edition

Hello Design Alchemist’s Collective,

I once read that we cut ourselves off from the supply of awesomeness when we are not in a state of gratitude. December awakens a sense of joy and wonder, in children and adults alike. But gratitude brings joy and wonder to those around us, and to our own-selves, any month or day of the year. It’s one of the rights of miracles that we may not always see but most certainly feel. Thank you for being a part of the Design Alchemist community. I appreciate your support and this connection we share each month as we travel the world in search of the ecstatic experience. Glad tidings to you and yours this Holiday season. And blessings abound.

Spotlight Feature for Good: Humanity Unified

We are all connected, we are all one. Humanity Unified is an incredible non-profit that TCS is honoured to be aligned with now for many years. Founded by dear friends Anthony and Maria Russo, their organization’s core model is investing in education, food security projects and sustainable development programs to empower people to rise above poverty. HU focuses not only on safe, soul-craft, building and empowerment for women and children of Rwanda, but in educating men about the importance of equality. Click to learn more about Humanity Unified and the impact they are making on the world. And since this is the season for giving, please join us and our TCS family in making a donation this year.

Alpine Cooking; Get Ready to Stay Warm

Recipes & Stories from Europe’s Grand Mountaintops …could anything sound more decadent?? I recently came across this culinary beauty which brings the real real. Stock made from bones, eggs are large, cream is heavy, herbs are fresh and wine is in abundance. As author Meredith Erikson perfectly shares, The Alps are about family businesses passed down from generation to generation and breathe true, alpine air into all the cultural influences these peaks reach for. This season, gather the family around and feast on delicacies from this special part of the world.
