Winter Wonderlands: the best places to be this Holiday Season
Winter is coming… and with it comes the opportunity to spend the holidays in a whole new way! These past few years have been rough for us all, and for travelers, the new normal has heavily interfered with our usual travel schedule.
Now that the world FINALLY feels like it’s going back to (at least the new) normal, I’m starting to feel more hopeful of what’s to come, so once again I feel the need to share with you a few of the places I’m adding to my travel bucket list, the winter edition!

The famous fjords are a must-see, and the Nærøyfjorden is now on UNESCO’s World Heritage List and was voted the world’s most unspoiled tourist destination by National Geographic, so definitely it’s a place to be.

The Christmas Markets allow you to explore the whole town like a local and grab a DELICIOUS bite. Get ready to taste one of the most amazing gingerbread cookies in the world!
Playa Gigante, Nicaragua
If you are looking for the opposite of a white Christmas, here’s a tropical paradise for you. In Playa Gigante, Nicaragua you’ll find amazing sandy beaches to take a surfing break, get your daily yoga dose, and of course, great dining experiences. It’s also known for its nightlife to make the days as long as you want.

In the winter, all the urban hubs in Tokyo are decorated for Christmas and the city fills with light (literally). You can stay in a hotel, but a traditional ryokan will give you a better taste of their incredibly rich culture.
